UAE, UK, Australia sign aviation security deal

<p>DUBAI: The governments of the UAE, the UK and Australia on Wednesday signed an agreement to increase cooperation and collaboration regarding airline security.</p> <p>The UK’s Foreign and Commonwealth Office said in a statement that the agreement, one of the first based on new principles developed by the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), will bring operational benefits and faster transfer times for travellers.</p> <p>Philip Parham, UK Ambassador to the UAE, said, “This agreement will strengthen the efforts of all three countries to counter international terrorism and to keep passengers safe.
